Precautions For Using Stainless Steel Three-way Ball Valve
2 Piece Threaded Ball Valve Overview:
Stainless steel three-way ball valves are available in T-type and L-type. The T-type can interconnect three orthogonal pipes and cut off the third channel, playing the role of diversion and confluence. The L-type can only connect two orthogonal pipes, and cannot keep the third pipe connected at the same time, and only plays the role of distribution.
Precautions for the use of stainless steel three-way ball valves:
1. When using stainless steel three-way ball valves, stop valves, and gate valves, they should only be fully opened or fully closed, and should not be used to adjust the flow rate to avoid erosion of the sealing surface and accelerated wear. There is a reverse sealing device in the gate valve and the upper threaded stop valve. The handwheel is rotated to the upper position and tightened to prevent the medium from leaking from the packing.
2. Stainless steel tees that are stored for a long time should be inspected regularly, and the exposed processing surface should be kept clean and cleaned. The dirt should be stored neatly in a ventilated and dry place indoors. Stacking or outdoor storage is strictly prohibited.
3. Always keep the stainless steel tee dry and ventilated, keep the device clean and tidy, and store it according to the correct storage method.
4. When installing, the stainless steel tee can be directly installed on the pipeline according to the connection method and installed according to the location of use. Generally, it can be installed at any position of the pipeline, but it needs to be easy to operate and inspect. Note that the flow direction of the medium of the stainless steel tee should be upward from the bottom of the longitudinal valve disc. The stainless steel tee can only be installed horizontally.
5. When installing the stainless steel tee, pay attention to the sealing to prevent leakage and affect the normal operation of the pipeline.
