How To Open And Close A Two-piece Ball Valve
The opening and closing principle of the two-piece ball valve is as follows:
I. When opening
1. At this time, the two-piece ball valve is in a closed state, and the ball is pressed tightly against the valve seat by the valve stem;
2. Turn the handwheel counterclockwise, and the valve stem drives the ball to leave the valve seat;
3. The ball leaves the valve seat and starts to rotate without any friction;
4. When the valve stem is raised to the top, the two-piece ball valve is in a fully open state.
II. When closing
1. At this time, 2 Piece Ball Valve is in a fully open state, and the valve stem is at the top. When closing, turn the handwheel clockwise, the valve stem begins to descend, and the ball begins to rotate from the valve seat.
2. Turn the handwheel clockwise, the valve stem slowly falls, and the ball begins to approach the valve seat to rotate without friction;
3. When the ball rotates 90°, it just has no contact with the valve seat. Turn the handwheel again, and the angle plane at the bottom of the valve stem will wedge and compress the ball, pressing it tightly against the valve seat to achieve reliable sealing.
